George Edwards
Graduate Landscape Architect
BA Landscape Architecture
George joined HTA Design in October 2023 as a placement year student. He will return to The University of Sheffield in September 2024 to complete his Masters year in Landscape Architecture.
George is involved in several of our projects and has undertaken a wide range of work at stages ranging from bid submission to on-site construction. His broad range of responsibilities has allowed him to progress skills both technically and professionally. Skilled in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, Illustrator and InDesign, George has also brought design ideas to life using Lumion and 3D printing.
George has been instrumental in delivering our work on Connected Canterbury a heritage and landscape led project which spans 17 sites historic sites across the city. As part of this project George has produced rendered plans, diagrams and has inputted into the evolving design. This project allowed him to see how Landscape Architects work with other related disciplines from Architects to Council members.
One of George’s standout pieces of work is an engraving design for The Paddock which depicts an interpretation of historic maps of the town of Chatham. The panel will be an important landmark in the new park.
