Crystal Palace Regeneration Celebration

8 August 2026

To celebrate the completion of the first phase of Crystal Palace Park Regeneration, the park hosted a weekend of activities; dinosaur making workshops, street-food markets, live theatre, and samba dancers were just a few of the events on offer.

The park was buzzing all weekend with residents, and Londoners who had travelled to see the newly restored dinosaurs, try out the dino-themed playground, traverse the terraces, explore history in the visitor’s centre, and enjoy the expansive grand central walk.

Huge congratulations to our client, collaborators, and the whole design team on delivering this first phase of the regeneration works. Thank you to the residents of Crystal Palace and beyond for coming out to celebrate your restored park!

The project has been delivered by London Borough of Bromley and Crystal Palace Park Trust with HTA Design as Lead Consultant and Landscape Architect.

The project has been made possible by major grants from Heritage Lottery Fund thanks to money raised by National Lottery players as well as funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation, The Wolfson Foundation, London Marathon Foundation and the Pilgrim Trust.
