The Sectors We Work In

HTA Communications & Engagement is the community engagement, consultation and communications team at HTA Design, a UK architecture practice specialising in housing and regeneration for more than 50 years. We work across a range of sectors, helping communities shape the places where they live.

Local authority led estate regeneration HTA Communications & Engagement works with councils to involve residents in the future of their estates, from early visioning to resident ballots. We have supported Wandsworth Borough Council at the Winstanley and York Road Estates since 2016.

Housing associations We help housing associations build trust with existing residents and involve them in decisions about their homes. We have worked with Notting Hill Genesis on the regeneration of the Aylesbury Estate in Southwark since 2012.

Developer led regeneration and housing We partner with developers and joint ventures to deliver engagement that builds local support and strengthens planning applications.

Masterplanning and new neighbourhoods We engage communities in large, long-term masterplans, keeping residents involved across multiple phases and many years of delivery.

Community and civic facilities We co-design community centres, libraries and shared spaces with the people who will use them, so they reflect local needs.

Later living We involve older residents in shaping homes designed for them. At Aylesbury Square in Southwark, an over-55s stakeholder group helped guide the layout, access and shared amenities.

Parks and public spaces We work with HTA's landscape team to engage local people in the design of parks, streets and public realm, including the regeneration of Crystal Palace Park.
