Maria joined HTA early 2026 and is responsible for leading the residential redevelopment design of the London Cancer District masterplan. The development is located in Belmont within the London Borough of Sutton for Socius and Aviva Capital Partners. The aspiration for the project is to develop a scheme for affordable keyworker apartments, providing much-needed accommodation for staff working on the health campus.
Maria has extensive experience of urban regeneration, new neighbourhoods and mid to large-scale masterplans. Maria is skilled at collaborative community engagement and delivering viable and technically compliant schemes. She has delivered hybrid planning applications and the preparation of outline application material including design codes. An experienced Associate, passionate about how design of places can positively impact communities.
