MAHP transforms underused Council brownfield sites to deliver affordable homes in Tower Hamlets. HTA is currently involved in two MAHP projects - Southern Grove and Chisenhale Road.
The Mayors Accelerated Housing Programme adopts a portfolio approach, also referred to as equalisation, aiming to deliver a minimum of 51% affordable housing across up to 40 Council owned sites, in line with the ambitions of the adopted and emerging Local Plan. The programme’s core purpose is to transform underutilised brownfield sites into sustainable residential communities, delivering high-quality new homes alongside wider social, economic and environmental benefits.
