How the landscape is informed by the local setting
The landscape design at Castle Court creates a network of green streets with a new central square at its heart. The square provides a place for the community to play, relax and gather within an attractive, shared green setting which sets the tone of the development. The landscape proposals also promote biodiversity, centering on plants and trees which thrive in coastal habitats and create interest all year round. The hard materials palette also takes its cue from the site’s coastal location, with a focus on Portland Stone and timber elements that create a sense of place.
