Architecture

Dexion House is a student housing development located near Wembley Stadium in North London. The project consists of 802 student units and a two-storey leisure centre that features a 25m swimming pool, exercise rooms, and changing facilities. Both the leisure centre and student amenities span two floors, covering the entire site with a basement and podium structure. The podium roof is designed as a landscaped area, providing an outdoor space for student recreation with green roofs, feature planting, and seating.

The accommodation is arranged in two parallel blocks: a nine-storey building facing Empire Way and an eighteen-storey building positioned at the rear. The ground floor along Empire Way houses entrances to both the leisure centre and student housing, activating the Wembley streetscape. The exterior of the building combines prefabricated brick slip panels, aluminium rainscreen panels, render, and Glass Reinforced Concrete, contributing to a varied and durable façade. The entire project, including the modular steel-framed construction of the student rooms, was completed in just 14 months using the innovative Vision Modular Structures system.
